2018 Civic History

Afternoon all,

I’ve purchased a 2018 1.0 Civic about a week ago and have only just realised I didn’t pick up a service book with it. I called the garage I bought it from and the salesman said it didn’t have one and all Honda service history is now available online anyway. I’ve tried connecting to the MyHonda+ app but it says my VIN isn’t compatible.

Have I been duped by the salesman or am I missing something?

RobH989, I think you can go directly on the Honda website and put in your reg. It should then tell you the service history. The Honda+ app is unreliable.

Do you have a link? I’ve searched and all I can find is MyHonda+

If you go on the Honda website. Click on the three lines on the top right. Then click on owners, Click on service + repairs. Then click on digital service record. Then click on access digital service record. Then put your info in.

Best of luck with the 1 litre lump.

It's very expensive but check when the rubber cam belt was if last changed. They tend to snap at around 50k miles, before Honda 60k mile service schedule change, and when they do they destroy the engine.
