Door filling up with water

Recently had issue where rear door was filling up with water and not draining. You could hear it sloshing around. It would eventually drain but slowly.

Dealership told me I'm not cleaning car well enough!!!! I keep it immaculate. The drain holes are under a seal anyway.
I don't expect a car less than 3 years old to have blocked drain holes. My previous car was 10 years old and I never had to clean drainage holes.

Dealership tried to charge me for work until I threatened to escalate to honda UK.

I like the car but I'd never buy a Honda again, purely because of dealership attitude and lack of customer satisfaction. They do bare minimum and are always looking to charge. Every visit, I've regretted going.

Hi
Sounds like there maybe underseal or wax in the holes for protection a bit too much obviously
Dirt i would doubt even if you did not look after the car
My local dealer is great but you obviously have a bad one
remember dealerships are only franchises they could quite easily shut the door and be a hyundai dealer in a week so you cant tar them all with the same brush brand wise (y)

Hope you get a result soon .

Do you mean the hatchback door or one of the rear passenger doors? If it's the hatchback, there is a video on YouTube that showsInside The Leaking Hatch | 2022-2024 Civic Hatchback - YouTube how to cure the water leak.

I also had the hatch/boot leak. Water poured out of the lock mech when lifting boot. Dealership stripped boot and denied there was an issue, said they found no evidence of leak and there was no known issue. They tried to charge me £150 for investigation. Thankfully since they stripped and put back together it's never leaked again.

For the rear passenger door. I shared my experience. Issue is resolved.
The drain holes were blocked in rear passenger door, the door filled up with water, dealership unblocked and then tried to charge me for unblocking, stating I hadn't cleaned car well enough and it wasn't a valid warranty job.

The drain holes are behind a rubber seal. The car is cleaned weekly and is immaculate. I don't drive it in a local mud rally 😀
