Not 100% on the dates but from what i remember:

then a 1.25 Fiesta,
Mitsy Lancer GTi
Alfa 156 GT
306 GTi6
Mitsy GTO N/A

Passed my Test in February 2007 as a poor Student

£750 1996 (N-Reg) VW Polo 1.6 GLX (100BHP), all electrics,AC, in Black colour coded bumpers, nice alloys, sports seat which I had PVC covers stitched on by a Taylor cousin to perfection, was a great first car but had electric windows problems and engine would cut out ,a few local garages couldn't solve the issue and Main dealer was too expensive scraped for £120

2000 Nissan Primera 1.8 in Teal, given for free by my uncle who upgraded as the clutched was gone I paid £220 for replacement, had electrical windows problems again (a nightmare as a smoker) loose hand break, gear nob came off and Harfords replacements made if too high so drove without then gaffer taped original (not nice). Some A******* crashed into the rear wing (connected to whole car) while I the car was parked and I was away from vehicle, heavy damage and Idle control problems, I had to start the car and keep petal on accelerator at 1100RPM myself until car warmed up (haha) so before MOT was due I scrapped it for £220 the same amount I replaced clutched with so got my money back :)

£450 1997 Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC in midnight blue, best £450 ever spent owned the car for over a year no problems what so ever, drove up and down Britain, was economical and enough power for my driving needs, absolutely flawless only changed for Automatic after injuring my left ankle fairly badly

Current car
£4250 2004 Honda Civic 1.6 AUTO in Black (bought with only 11,000 on the clock) Cream leathers, alloys, owned for over a year however very thirsty being an Automatic, only problem with the car is its stupid turning circle and parking it in tight spots, horrible but no trips to the garage other then tires and servicing so far. Ankle has improved enough for a Manuel after much Physio so thinking of a new car before the end of the year.

My favorite car (all things considered) was the 1997 Honda Civic, reliable, economical and I like driving an under stated car (dislike showing off) just need a decent colour coded bodywork and alloys. Been looking at Fiat Panda 100HP on Auto trader but do not wish to leave Honda reliability, the Jazz is looks boring.
