Hi all as above this is for the ecu guru's on the forum. I would basically like to know what the stock ecu can cope with, map and ignition wise before having to add a piggyback or standalone unit. And what are the spoon chips like? as I heard they were really good for the h22a, so was wondering if they would have the same effect on the D16? Basically these are my plans for my track car.

1st stage:
DC Sports Ceramic Exhaust Manifold
Mongoose Performance Stainless Exhaust System
KAITEN Super Karui Lightweight Flywheel
Blueprint Clutch Kit
ENERGY-SUSPENSION Master Bushing Set
Tenzo R Cold Air Intake
RG SUSPENSION COILOVER KIT- bought already
De-cat

2nd stage: I am sure i will need a fully programmable ecu at this stage?
Skunk2 Cam Shafts,
AEM Adjustable Cam Gears ,
Skunk2 Titanium Retainers,
Skunk2 Racing Valve Springs
along with some other head work and maybe some balancing to raise the rev limit.

bolts ons will be fine but will through your emmissions off for MOT.

steer clear of the skunk2 cam, look at a crower stage 2 or a bisimoto re-grind, your also want to raise the compression to make use of the higher lift cam.

if you have it blueprinted you should make good power upto 8'000 rpm.
