They also take a while to deliver stuff, though the prices are very good my oil-filters were ordered 8 days ago and still haven't turned up (meaning I didn't have a filter for my service today).

I did read the portion on the website explaining lead times etc but surely you could expect to have service parts such as this in stock all the time?

E-mails have all been very polite and prompt but I think it would be better if you let people know whether or not the items they have ordered are in stock or not.

I waited quite a while for an oil filter, but to be fair, Baz didn`t have them in stock at the time, so offered me a Mugen replacement, for the same price, but the Mugens are about £15 more.

I think Baz sells alot of items as soon as he gets them in. Being the only Honda specialist, this is to be expected.

His website also says to allow up to 21 days for delivery.

The best thing to do is speak to him personally via forum traders or msn live help, and find out when he actually has the items in stock. I did this with a JDM ARB and he sent out the item on the same day as payment 8-|

Hi there,

Its a simple case of we cannot keep up with demand at the moment - its easy to sit and say "why didn't you email" but we are dealing with upto 40 customers a day with enquiries, questions, technical advice - I work from early in the morning until gone 10 every day including weekends.. We order Hamps in batches of 200 and they go as quickly as they arrive.. Our supplier cannot keep up with us either :v

Our website clearly states our lead time policy - if were to invest in only 10% stock holdings our prices would have to go up considerably to cover the costs of staff, warehousing, logistics etc.. Its not as black and white as people think..

The website may make us out to be some huge corporation but we aren't.. We are Honda enthuisiasts through and through so please bare with us until we have the money to grow into more than 2 members of staff to cope with the sheer demand you lot are putting on us (we don't mind orders but 10 emails asking why da ebayz id da chepa isn't helping anyone)..

Once we have financial support (I quit my nice tidy earning job to pursue this full time) we'll be growing into fitting bays, servicing etc - it all takes time - Rome wasn't build in a day >:-(

As Nick has said, he ordered and ARB and it was with him within 2 days, we send a lot of product out the same day its ordered - our stockholdings are currently around £25k which is small in comparison to our site offerings (now over £4m).

Hope this helps

Cheers for the continued support

Bazza

Our price increases have nothing to do with Mugen, but rather on the weak £ against the Yen. If prices for an item go up, they stay up. Manufacturing prices don't go down again. The profit we make is minimal, we work on selling a large volume of orders to make any real money. Not £250 on every exhaust we sell like so many of you think

We work with Yen day to day, now the other distributors (Tein, Defi, HKS etc) have made the decision to increase prices from 30-67% for 2009. Our prices have risen with the Yen and are considerably less than other places.

We offer an importing service, we cannot control lead times from manufacturers (although I wish I could). We are out of pocket so much with the £ falling so heavily against the Yen. I run this business for love, not money!

As I said in my email to you, a lot of B series parts are dwindling in Japan due to change in Shaken rules, its simply not worth keeping an EK4 on the road in Japan as the costs for one years Shaken are more than the cost of the car!

Hi i wasn't havin a go at your business, and i need to correct my last post as its only been a month since my order placement. just havin a bad time at the moment trying to get parts. I know what you mean the £ has dropped loads against other currencies which makes importing difficult. And that the used car market in Japan is weird, limiting demand on aftermarket parts. Still love the site, loads of choice. Will be purchasing more off it when i've got the tinny saved for more mugen stuff. :D

cheers.
