They also take a while to deliver stuff, though the prices are very good my oil-filters were ordered 8 days ago and still haven't turned up (meaning I didn't have a filter for my service today).
I did read the portion on the website explaining lead times etc but surely you could expect to have service parts such as this in stock all the time?
E-mails have all been very polite and prompt but I think it would be better if you let people know whether or not the items they have ordered are in stock or not.
Hi there,
Its a simple case of we cannot keep up with demand at the moment - its easy to sit and say "why didn't you email" but we are dealing with upto 40 customers a day with enquiries, questions, technical advice - I work from early in the morning until gone 10 every day including weekends.. We order Hamps in batches of 200 and they go as quickly as they arrive.. Our supplier cannot keep up with us either :v
Our website clearly states our lead time policy - if were to invest in only 10% stock holdings our prices would have to go up considerably to cover the costs of staff, warehousing, logistics etc.. Its not as black and white as people think..
The website may make us out to be some huge corporation but we aren't.. We are Honda enthuisiasts through and through so please bare with us until we have the money to grow into more than 2 members of staff to cope with the sheer demand you lot are putting on us (we don't mind orders but 10 emails asking why da ebayz id da chepa isn't helping anyone)..
Once we have financial support (I quit my nice tidy earning job to pursue this full time) we'll be growing into fitting bays, servicing etc - it all takes time - Rome wasn't build in a day >:-(
As Nick has said, he ordered and ARB and it was with him within 2 days, we send a lot of product out the same day its ordered - our stockholdings are currently around £25k which is small in comparison to our site offerings (now over £4m).
Hope this helps
Cheers for the continued support
