There's a topic on the CTR forum about this! Link: http://www.civictype-r.co.uk/forum/view ... 27&t=35615" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or if you can't see it...

Honda release paint code of 2004> CTR wheels

I have just had an alloy wheel repaired on my 2004 CTR by Chipsaway. The result is fantastic.

For people in the 'know' this onfo may be useful...

DUPONT MICROFICHE NUMBER: - X0827

To make 2litres the following 'tints' are required...

Tint Code / Quantity
94 / 4.06
5 / 4.45
2 / 4.66
27 / 4.75
20 / 4.83
155 / 9.09
165 / 19.17

I was told that this is for 2004> cars only.
Keep away from Halfords mate.

Go to a proper paint specialist, it'll be cheaper and they know what there doing :)

yea the alloys i am looking at are off of a 2005 civic... the darker type...

you say stay away from halfords is this just cause of the quality of paint?

and i dont know too much about painting haha i was just wondering if you got a specific paint?? do i need to mix paint and stuff?

or is DUPONT MICROFICHE NUMBER: - X0827

the paint i need to get?

cheers :p

Edit:

yea when it says the following tints are required what does that mean?

can i just buy the paint from somewhere... eg halfords... but thats the only place off hand i can think haha

Halfords would have to mix it for you, but according to 2 halfords workers on the ctr forum they don't have those mixers to be able to do it!

I guess any paint supplier/chipsaway would be able to make up a can/tin of it for you :)
