Aight...

how do i get at least 130 bhp out of a civic 1.5 lsi!!!???

any help would be great...

a mate recommendin changin the inlets... but that wud b long!!!

Yea i got a de-cat/ induction/ KnN... lookin at prices for manifolds... and cold air ram intake!!!

would they still pass mot with it on?

yea i knw that... still got standard pipe in the garage!! lol...

just wonderin if it wud pass with the new manifold on and shit???

should be fine mate,new exaust de-cat and manifold made the most difference for me without spending mega bucks.....ecu next....

TBH with you. the 1.5lsi is hard to get much power out of it.

I would imagine with all them mods you should get about 10bhp max.....

But if it helps you drive faster and more confident than it doesnt matter how many horses it gives you.

yea true... i just wanna get good enough throttle response to kick ya into your back seat...

and one of my mates said it was a big job droppin a dc2 into an eg...

how much work needs to be done?

I think it depends on how much you can do on a car.

A dc2 swap is not very hard.. top of my head you will need to swap the interior loom.. but all the mounts are the same.

You will be looking at around £2.5k ish maybe cheaper (if you do it yourselve) depending on the condition of the engine + gearbox, but than you will need to look into changing th brakes to take the extra power and better suspension etc etc

Might be cheaper keeping your car with a few mods for a while than swap for a dc2

It doesnt have to be a DC2 engine though, you could use the B18c4 a few of the b16 engines or boost the one you have now.

B18c4's and boxes can be had for a lot less than 2k and stll 170hp which in a hatch will be plenty.

Or dont other at all and buy somthing faster lol

haha yea true true... ma mate told me to run an esi!!!

i might just run my car for now... and start an ep3 as a project too
