how difficult would it be to fit a honda s2000 engine into my civic as my engines gone and iv got my hands on an s2000 lump? has it been done before? thanks

type in s2000 civic eg on youtube and there a video of a car thats had the converison, you should be able to email the poster and find out some more info. but its looks like alot of work because the gearbox goes on the otherside of the engine bay

It would be very very hard, you would be much better off going for a B or a K series.

the F20 from a S2K as far as i know is only used in the S2K, some ludes use F series engine but they're totally different from the new F's.

i dont think you can get an F20 FWD box as it was designed souly for the S2K. maybe a K20 box would fit but i dont know who to ask to find out.

You can make adaptor plates between the F and K which means you can use the CTR gearbox.

There are one or two EKs I think running round with RWD F lumps in which have done the same thing.

Requires a LOT of fab work though.
