Hi, have changed battery on my 2014 Civic but radio / satnav its asking for a 4 digit anti theft code there is no code in any of my manuals (it's left blank) Honda dealers can't repair it, they say it needs removing and sending to a third party and this will cost an absolute fortune, any ideas would be welcome, thanks in anticipation. dave310

I had a similar experience with my 67 plate tourer. Answer was to turn to ignition on position and wait for the infotainment system to talk to the ECU and check the ? VIN number ? making sure it is still in the original car. The unit did come up asking for a code, the owners manual referred to a security code, but there was no code (on a card) supplied, and the dealer couldn't help. However lmaking sure the ignition was on when the unit powered up solved the problem.
