Hi Hi,

Im currently trying to buy my first civic and need some advice if the price is right.. so I dont get ripped ;o

Ive seen a HONDA CIVIC SE 1.7 CTDI 2004 (04) for sale with 111K on the clock. Body work and inside clean however.

I know parkers values the car at around 4-5k. But with this high mileage the price will be much less. Owner wants 3.5k

Im thinking 2.8K .. Whats the most you'll pay? or i shud pay..

Ta

Big mileage in a short time is a motorway thing ,
no wear on the seats either i bet because no one has been getting in and out of the thing all the time
i would not hesitate the mileage on a motorway driven car is no issue ,
its been hot all the time at a nice continuous speed,
has had a load less cold starts and thats what kills engines along with stop start journeys and not warming a car up properly
its not a sign of ragging its a sign of a long journey car and has had a quick and painless run in period too
go for it .

with it being in such a short amount of time i would say alotta them are motorway miles so i wouldnt worry!!

if they were miles around town using the lower gears i would worry alot more and probably ask the guy did he ever

leave his car lol
