Welcome Matt, I am also from S Wales. I live between Raglan and Abergavenny.

The EK9s are wicked cars and not bad money at the moment ;)

Cool cheers m8, well an ek9 is my goal but knowing me if i see a tidy crx or civic depending on funds il stick it in my garage to moddify over the months, theres a crx in newport its red with black wheels standard body etc and its really quick think he only paid about £1500, some of the honda engines look really clean even at 100k miles i wanna get a motor with less than 70k from past experience high mile cars cost me a fortune in repair bills dunno what the hondas are like? whats a good honda specialist to buy from .i.e performance parts and fitting etc? cheers

Honda engines are fine on high mileage, My old EK3 had 155k on the clock and never missed a beat. My CRX that I have just boosted has 158k on it.

Which CRX was it you were looking at getting?

Nice a proper CRX ;)

My car i have basically built from the ground up. Its a 16v so it has then D16a9 engine in it. Yes the engines are reliable and very tunable.

I have done all the work on the car myself so haven't had any labor costs to incur at all but the whole build has cost me about £2000 so far which isn't really a lot I could have quite easily spent £10000 if I wanted to.
