Hay there folks,

Well incase you hadn't heard, im organising a charity motor show in the NE of Scotland on May the 31st. The venue is the AECC (Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre). This is a one day event with all money raised going to help local kids charites Cash for Kids & ARCHIE (Royal sick kids hospital).

We've got a lot planned for the event, with many car and bike clubs coming from all over scotland to display at NEMS09.

So far the list of clubs includes...

NE of Scotland RS Owners Club
Aberdeen & District Motor Club (ADMC)" onclick=";return false;

Moray Muscle Group [US Muscle cars] (MMG)" onclick=";return false;

Aberdeen Scoobies" onclick=";return false;
Eastside VW" onclick=";return false;
Wildcats Bike Club" onclick=";return false;
Mitsubishi Lancer Register" onclick=";return false;

We have about a dozen more clubs that im still waiting to here back from.

We also have one racing team confirmed as coming, Jamieson racing. Who will be bring 2 track cars and 1 truck along to the show. just as below....

We will also have several dealerships attending this event including...

And Honda Aberdeen, Subaru, Porsche and Mitsubishi confirmed as interested in the event.

To help us promote the safe driving message we have...
Grampian Police Road Safety Unit ... d=30;34;16" onclick=";return false;
Institute of Advanced Motorists" onclick=";return false;
And possibly Grampian Fire and Rescue coming along too.

We will be running many competitions on the day that all display vehicles can be entered into.
Competitionms to include..
* Best club award
* Best Project
* Best Show and Shine
* Best Custom (car or bike)
* Maddest engine
* Best in show (Chosen from the winners of all comps)
* Best Paint job
* Best Classic (Classic cars/bikes will be split up into decades if necessary)
* Best Burnout (Weather conditons dependent)

Many trade stall will be there to allow you to grab some great products while your at NEMS09.

We have many more things still to be announced so i will keep you posted.

One thing i can offer you at the moment is a special rate on accomidation.
The Holiday Inn Express (which is right on the door step of the event) have offerd us a very deduced rate for anyone wishing to stay over on the Saturday night before the show.

They have offered a rate of £45.00 per room inclusive of complimentary continental breakfast – (rooms subject to availability) Noramal room price is £109 a night without breakfast, so yer getting a good deal!!

Rate is per room- whether twin , or double- some rooms can take two adults and two children under 12 in sofa bed or three adults in a double plus sofa bed configuration.

Hay I know i aint been on hear for a while but heres a wee snippet of whats on offer at the show, and we'll also have a Pagani Zonda C12 S as well as a Ferrari and either a Buggatti or a konensig (spelling?)
