Hi all,
My 2016 civic idtec has lost its headlight dipped beams in both Auto and Manual switching.

Bulbs are fine
Main Beam is fine
Fuses fine
No errors on instruments

I am stuck! Has anyone had this? If so, how did you fix it?

Thank You

1. Is there anything else that's not working?
2. Did you check both fuse boxes?
3. If there were micro blade fuses, did you remove them to check them? It's very difficut to see if these are blown without doing so.
4. Are these standard bulbs? Or LED ones?

Hello,
Thanks for the checklist.

Everything else works

I have only checked the underbonnet fuse box for lights. I am not sure what else in the interior box would influence this error.

All relevant Fuses were pulled and checked. No errors were noted

These are standard Halogen OSRAM (Night breakers, possibly).

I have now booked it in to a local, trusted autoelectrician. It pai s me to do this as its expensive and emasculating!!! 😭

I don't know about the Civic but frequently on cars there's a relay between the light stalk and the headlights. This allows the switching wire to be lightweight. Hope its not an expensive fix.
