i own a 1999 Honda Civic 5 door, and am finding quite a loud knocking noise when making big turns (right or left). It is most noticeable on full lock. Also, on moving away when the car is stationary, I am hearing a ticking noise from the rear of the car - I only hear it once every time I move when the car is stationary.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated as I would rather wait to fix any problems when the car's MOT is due in 3 months time. Thanks.

CV Joints?
Sticky Hand break?
Half dead prostitute in boot.

or maybe none of the above, but CV joints are common culprits of knocking noises, especially when at low speed and turning.
