I am just about to buy a b18c jdm spec full engine conversion kit for my eg4 .I am wanting the 98spec as it has a few more horses but how can i tell if im getting a 98 spec or 96 because the place im buying from say they cant prove its from a 98 and they have only got a exhaust manifold from a 96 spec to sell with it.Which is the only wayi can tell as ive bin told the 98 spec comes with a four branch manifold and the 96 spec doesnt.Should there be a date stamp or will the be any engine numbers that will prove what year it is.Thanks

haha was gona mention the fuel pump!

yes mate, u will need a walbro 255 high presure, cost bout £80-£90.

and the B18c mounts will do, but will need modifying.

also make sure u get it mapped as soon as, cause the pump can dilliver ur whole tanks worth of fuel in half hour! making ur car run stupidilly lean, u dont wana do that.
