Hello,

I'm not really car savvy guy so I'm not sure what's happening.

When I have the car in idle, every few minutes, what sounds like a fan will turn on for a few seconds then the car will judder, is this supposed to happen with these civics?

Depending on the engine coolant temp the fan will cut in occasionally and then slightly reduce the idle speed. Which will feel as though the engine is juddering.
