Im havin trouble understanding how to get my car to workas it should. Some one at some point has done an engine change and put a d15z6 in a car made with a d16y7 which is a non vtec engine! It has been done well and as far as i can tell, apart from the eletrics. its clear they havent changed the ecu. As i have a p2e something lyk that anyway! So far i'am aware that i need a p28 and a conversion harness but is it as simple as that and will i need to wire the vtec in my self if so how do u do that?

Re: how to wire VTEC?

http://www.phearable.net/tech/wiring/pinouts2.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; go here fit the wires on the ECU or add them. run wires from required sensors to ecu. for my ecu i went to the scrapyard found a vtec obd1 crx cut the ecu/harness out then spliced it into my civic. (i dont plan on going back to obd2) Chipped the ECU myself from parts at maplins (site also has guide there on how to) you don't need to chip if you just want a ECU with vtec.
