I was hoping for some feedback from 10th gen civic owners regarding gear changes in cold weather. I've recently bought an ex-demo Honda Civic Sport 2020 (1800 miles on the clock). I've noticed that getting into 2nd gear is particularly notchy / clunky when the car is driven from cold (2nd to into 3rd not great either). Took it for a spin today (2 deg c) and the initial gear change to 2nd was very notchy, felt like it was about to crunch. Once warmed up its much better, but not smooth, still a little notchy feel to it.
Is this a characteristic of the gearbox that others experience, or should I get it looked at by Honda?
Any feedback appreciated.
Cheers
