hi, yes it has one. I just changed it on my 2000 coupe, and it was disgusting and black, and full of leaves! You need to remove the glove compartment (two bolts at either side underneath) then there is a silver strip of metal behind it that needs to be removed, four screws or bolts if i remember. You should then be able to remove a vertical piece of black plastic, and you pull the filter out towards you. Then install the new one taking note of the air flow direction indicated by an arrow. Hope that all makes sense!

when getting access to the screws you will need to remove the triangle which is not seen when the door is closed.

if you are technically minded and patient its pretty easy, make sure u get the hoover in there!
