The bottom of my boot where the spare tyre goes was very wet today, the floor of the boot and the side where dry however when you lift up the cover to access the spare it is very wet.

I took up the carpet and there was pools of water on the floor of the boot.

Any idea where the wAter is coming from? As the actual boot was dry?

I notice there are 2 rubber plug in the flow of the car, can and should they be removed?

He please with the cause and solution
