Honda want me to pay £19,000 to repair a seized turbo
They say it is not under warranty because the car was not serviced at 12 months old
This was because the Honda Cardiff garage was shut due to Covid
and my household had to shield following Welsh Government written instructions
furthermore the lease company had de-activated the oil warning system
Has anybody had similar problems?

I would personally ring Honda and explain the situation you was in.
Honda know about problems with turbos seizing due to a problem with the 'wet belt' .
This is breaking up and swarf is collecting around the turbo.
Several cars have had this happen. Honda is still looking into this issue but they will have a solution soon. Keep ringing Honda headquarters not dealership and they will help.
Honda is a great manufacturer and hate it when their cars have issues and I'm pretty sure they'll help you.
Good luck
