The internal adjuster for the headlight level on my 01 Civic doesn't appear to be working.

I've read the manual and can't find any reference to a fuse and all of the fuses appear intact. I've also had a look at the back of the headlight unit but can't see any obvious motor to drive the levelling system.

Am I missing something? How does the internal adjuster change the level of the headlights? Is it just moving the main beam bulb or the entire lamp cluster?

Thanks in anticipation.

It is a small motor that moves different parts within your headlight, depending on what type of headlight you have.

Are you sure it doesn't work? Have any wires come loose from your headlights?

Thanks for the replies.

I'll recheck the wires. I assume it's the small grey thing that lies just outside the main lamp and below the sidelight.

It doesn't dazzle anyone but it would be nice to have an option to change the height on occasions.
