right like a prat i was goin to finish the ice install.
lead the front seats flat so i could lie down , dropped the back seat didnt notice my head rest was in the way and hey presto broke the arms going in to the head rest
iv stripped the cover back and can see the weld points i broke
does anyone know if i can solder this back together or does it need real welder to fix?? .

i know its tight not to but a new one but its a honda leather interior
im changing the front seats soon enough anyway but wood still like everything working cos im a bit anal bout my cars and goin to sell the seats one day

that might be the way but i would rather weld or solder to fix it

come on hcf there must be a welder out there

What are the stalks made out of? I doubt you would be able to weld them I think they are like a chrome like material which I don't think you can weld. Paul20v might know a bit more about it though.

yer but we had a spitting the dummy comp last night
hopefully hes buried the hatchet, i have
he seems like a good fella, knows his way around
think they are stainless steel ???
they were origanly welded (spot or just tacked)
