Hey guy's I've got a 1.6 sport 2005 model facelift civic.

I'm currently going to be getting it remapped, scorpian exhaust, induction kit etc..

Just wondering how much am I looking at for a turbo for it?

Any help would be great thanks!!

If it's to much I may have to cheat and purchase a SABAR !! ahha

eBay kits are about £600-£800 before fitting and mapping, however most people end up upgrading loads of the parts like the manifold anyway so think it is a bit of a false economy.

Well made kits are anything upwards of 2k from what I've seen before fitting and mapping.

Would you fitting this yourself or not? If not then you'll probably need to put aside about £600-£800 for fitting.

Then mapping will be another £300-£500 on top of that.

Not a cheap mod but would be really worth while as you don't see a lot of turbo EP2s around.

Woah, Honda doing it for you, I wouldn't. Bills will be MASSIVE and can't imagine it is the type of thing they specialise in, despise being Honda themselves. They generally carry out maintenance work on standard cars.

Other mods, brakes wouldn't be a bad idea. I'd imagine just decent discs and pads (i.e Mintex) would be enough of an upgrade to cope, unless you're planning on doing track days. Apart from that nothing else is necessary but things like suspension mods as well would go hand in hand.

If you're running a standard exhaust that'll need upgrading, preferably to a 2.5" or 3" pipe depending on what boost and power you'll be running/hoping to make.

Obviously with the conversion you'll need a mappable ECU (should come with the kit, may need upgrading to Hondata?) upgraded injectors etc. etc.

Have a search on Google for a EP2 turbo build thread, must be a few about, it'll give you a lot of information on what needs to be done.
