Hi all,

Just had a phone call from the garage that my I took my 2003 1.4 civic imagine to this morning. The problem is the interior fans not responding when the dial is turned, nothing coming through them at any speed.

According to the garage, the pollen filter has never been changed in previous services which has lead to the resistor being blown. They're charging 55 notes just to look at it, then 80 notes for the resistor and 15 for the pollen filter plus labour.

I've seen the threads on here about changing the resistor that's located behinfd the glovebox, is this the same fault? If so, over 200 quid seems a lot when I could do it myself using the guides this forum.

Any ideas? I'd be very appreciative of some help.
