Hi,

My existing radiator has corroded and is full of holes and needs replacing. I have purchased a new one on ebay matching the car spec.

I have never changed a radiator before and a colleague of mine said I should be extra carefull with automatic cars as the oil is cooled at the bottom of the radiator.

Is there any tips and warnings you can give me before performing the install???

Many thanks,

Monty

Not sure about automatic cars, but generally, The important thing would be to let the car cool down for a few hours before attempting anything in the engine bay. Hot oil and skin don't go well together!!

remove all fluid to start. ping off the hose clips and temperature plugs. pop off the top mount and pull the radiator out. pop it back in, connect everything back up and refill the lot!
