Hi

I am new to the forum, currently have a 97 civic hatchback. I am considering changing the engine over before she dies completely and have been offered an engine out of a 2003 rover zr 2.0 diesel for a reasonable price. I would be very grateful for any advice on the engine change and if this donor enegine would be ok as a replacement? I understand from research that there shoudln't be a problem, yet i would appreciate any guidance from your own experience.

Many thanks in advance

Thanks lads, it is definately a 2.0 diesel engine with 75k under its belt. If it had been petrol i would have shared the same concerns, any issues around fitting that i should be aware of?

Once again thank you in advance
