Has anyone used wheel spacers on a ek4 or similliar car and if so what sizes do u recommend and are they easily fitted? I was thinking of goin 5-10mm thickness!

ive currently got 10mm and 20mm spacers on the rear and 20mm's on the front of my EJ6 with (DC2 hubs)

5mm IMO is pointless, who is going to notice 5mm. 10mm will need to be hubcentric and your studs should be long enough. much more the 10mm your going to have to use extended studs or bolt on spacers.

fitting 10mm or bolt ons is as easy as changing a wheel.

new studs are a biatch, need to know your way round a decent set of tools. more time consuming rather then difficult.

it will make a difference yes, makes the track of the car wider so cornering should be improved... its not as simple as that as your making wheel further away from the hub so for the same amount of force a lever effect means the spring is compressed more... so you get a little more roll. Tbh doubt you will notice on public roads.
