HI LADS CAN YOU HELP ME I HAVE AN 04 CIVIC 2000 TYRE S JUST HAD NEW FRONT PADS PUT ON (HONDA BRAND) BUT WHEN I DRIVE THERE IS A DROLLING SOUND FROM THE FRONT THE GARAGE HAVE CHECKED THE BRAKES THEY SAY IT MIGHT BE A BEARING GOING BUT TWO HONDA GARAGES HAVE SAID IMPOSSIBLE AT 50000 MILES THEY JUST DONT GO MY TYRES ARE FINE THE ENGINE IS FINE THE CAR DRIVES O/K ITS JUST THIS SOUND I HAVE NOT HAD BEFORE AS THE CAR IS VERY QUITE HELP BOYS IM NOT A MECHANIC REGARDS LIAM

Its not impossible for a bearing to wear down depending on the weather conditions, check your CV joints and inner joints as well, its sounds like the bearing to me, get a puller and do the job yourself.

Wow what a comment ,
as already said its not uncommon for a bearing to go any time jack the car up and give the wheels a spin ,
sometimes you may need to push the pads back off the disc as they rub slightly and make it harder to here the rumbling
"Make sure you PUMP the pedal after you have finished before driving to set the pads back to the disc"
