well my realease bearings gubbed, just noticed yesterday and considering changing myself to save some cash do you think this is a bad idea?

what kind of tools would i need or any special tools ?

i also have to replace cv joints so i would probs be better doing it whilst im at it...

clutchkit 1 ?
or
clutch kit 2?

or should i dodge ebay all together?

how difficult d'you reckon for a novice changing it on axle stands :p
im still not sure... if i can come up with the cash i will pay a pro but if im short then im on my lonesome :eek:

Would a Haynes manual not help?

I hear they tell you how to replace EVERYTHING!

yeah that my be an idea the last time i done some work on my last car my friend was adamant the big screw held on the timing belt cover :rolleyes: ...straight through the cam cover lol

yeah i will probs use a haynes, i went into halfrauds the other day on my lunch break and some bloke who works there started moaning it aint a library lol

yeah he was jst bein a c**k i think :p

well i'll get some cash together maybe have a go myself n if i fail theres a garage up te road :D
