Hi Everyone

I am new to this forum.

I recently bought 99 honda civic 5 dr 1.4i. It has alloys wheels and all four tyres read 185/55 R15. The standard tyres listed for this car are 175/65R14 with front and rear pressures as 32 and 30 psi respectively on Michelin website and 27 and 30 psi on kwik-fit.

What should be the correct pressures for 185/55 R15 wheels?

Cheers

Jaz

the tyres listed for your car are the same as the ones currently on my car. i dont car about the tyres so have been using 36 34 and had no problems, then again the car is never driven far on them.

32 and 30 sound right.

32 and 30. may i ask how you drive it.....if your on the track pressures are really different to how they work on the car. id run 32 and 30 or 33 and 31. if you want economy go for 34 and 31 or if you want grip and are raping the tires go for 33 and 31.

my car wants 35 33 for normal (195 55 r15) and 35 36 for a full load. i run 36 34 for normal driving as i want the most economy out of the car.
