Hi,
Having a few problems with my clutch on my civic type r, its done 70k miles and seems to be slipping, how big of a job is it to replace/strip down? If you've got any info about this job or websites that would be useful whilst carrying this out.
Cheers.

cheers for your advice, sounds a lot of work then does the engine need to come out totally or can you get away with dissconnecting it from the engine mountings and trying to tilt it to access it that way? would you advise a capable engineer with another pair of hands helping taking it on or is it a garage job? happy to take it on just unsure of how big of a job it is, ordered a maintenance manual off e bay to assist...

engine doesnt move.
need to remove driveshaft which requires some suspension moving/removing. probably about an hour to get access to the gearbox bell. then removing the bell housing to see the clutch....... at least you dont have a lambo where you need to remove the engine!
