Please can someone help me, I have an 08 plate Honda Civic. I would like to find out how to silence the voice navigation?

Thanks

Do you mean when you're using the satnav and have a destination set, or when not in use??

My parents have one, never really looked at it. The voice does help if you're using it though... think that's kinda the point, so you don't look at the screen too much! As that could be considered dangerous, same as using a mobile phone etc

There must be a mute function somewhere in it. You looked through all the settings and the instruction 'bible' that came with your car?
Good luck.

I have gone through the whole manual and checked all settings.

What I want to have is the screen to show me but not tell me where I am going. It is very annoying when you know your route but want to have something as a guide to how long it will take and if there is any traffic on route.

Thanks

Can you customize the voices as you can for tom tom?

If so you could just stick on a silent voice and set that as the profile.

Nope, unfortunately not. I guess that's why tomtom's are so popular, even being able to have your own voice on them lol

I do like the way she says 'exit' on the OEM one though! haha
