the problem with my gear box is that when i take the 1 gear all out to 8400-8500rpm and i shift to 2 gear, then it fals down too 5500rpm, not 5800 rpm when the vtec kick's inn, so i think that a v-tec controller would bee the solution?? dont't you?? i have found som diffrent v-tec controllers on ebay, what do you think is the best ?
hi VTEC engagement on a stock car is OPTIMIZED. Do NOT mess with it because all you are really doing is taking away power, depsite what it "feels" like.
your problem is gearbox ratios not engine related if what you say happens then second is too tall for your engine honda didnt do a good job of matching the engine to the box ,
in saying that thou a lot of manufacturers mess up gear ratios , basically its not a race car. 8-|
okey.. thanks for the info.. i havent tested a v-tec controller before, so i belived that if the info the sellers write on the v-tec controller box is true, then my problem was gone..but maybe it dosen't..
