right had this civic just a couple days now, it has 16" wheels and coilover suspension (think there gmax), found when pushing hard into corners that it would get sideways and very very twichy :( , i wound up the back suspension a bit today but still bit twitchy, any help would be cool

Could be tyre pressures, perhaps the rebound damping or spring rate is a bit high. A stiffer rear ARB might also cause oversteer, if you have one fitted, as it could lift the inner tyre off the road in a hard corner. If you have an aftermarket upper rear strut brace try taking it out and see if that helps.

Low pressure will make the back end feel soft and wobbly as the sidewall deforms in a corner but the increased footprint should equal more grip in theory- ie less likely to suddenly break loose. Does it generally feel unstable or does it feel taut and then suddenly step out?
Your car as a front wheel drive/front engine vehicle should be hard to oversteer in most situations. Aim to get as much grip as possible to the back end, this will probably mean softening everything up a bit and allowing a bit of body roll (to try and stop the tyres being bounced out of contact with the road) obviously only make small adjustments to the suspension at a time.

the car is setup to be adjustable round the corners, that is to reduce understeer you lift off a bit for the back to come round then back on the throttle to keep the car going straight. it might be that you are lifting off the throttle or going into the corner with no power on. i suggest you drive slower or if its happening at low speeds then theres a problem. otherwise you may kill yourself or worse, others.
