Right chaps, my car came with some spurious cone filter instead of the airbox, i have the airbox and original paper filter, so. . . .
I guess the cone filter is nice for the sound when the 6k rpm threshold is passed but probably sucking warm air and not doing much for hp.
The standard box has a resonance/ram tube inside the lid, this can be removed so would a panel filter in the airbox and the tube removed, plus a bit of playing with the srorkel parts be more beneficial?

Or would the pod filter be ok with a simple air feed from behind the grill or something?

Thanks in advance.
Daz.

I would have neither induction system and invest in a cold air feed. You get the best of both worlds then.
