Hi to all viewing this message forum. I have a Honda Civic 1.8i Vtec Vti on a 5 door hatchback (R Reg). When I start the engine when its cold including in the morning, it starts after abit but on the first turn. I've checked my spark plugs anhat d also bought a set of NGK plugs that I've replaced but I'm still having this problem? A mechanic i know has told me that its my distributor thats going but my engine management light hasn't come on. I've checked my distributor cap and cleaned it out as it had white stuff on it. I've also been told by another machanic that it wouldn't be the distributor as its very rare that they would go on this model, can someone help me out please?

I agree with Gibbscp - if its starting, then there's not really a problem :)

"starts after abit" - could just be the normal colder mornings nowadays?
