ok.
both the y8 and the d15z6 run on obd2 fuel control you only need a conversion if you change to the older d16z6 head
the d15z6 runs a 9:6:1 CR the same as the y8 incidently.
the d16z6 runs a 9:2:1 CR as i remeber. so you Will need to skim the head to suit to the d15 bottom end
the p28 ecu runs on the d16z6 engine obd1.
if you use the y8 you ill not need an obd1-obd2 conversion harness it uses a p2p obd2 ecu
the d16z6 will require a conversion harness and a 0.2mm-0.25mm skimm to suit CR.
