2003 CTDI Timing Belt Change?

The advised time to change it is 90,000. But if you had had a previous oil/water pump leak it may have damaged and weakened the belt.

I was changing my timing belt when I came up against the crank shaft pulley bolt which I failed to undo, so I put the car back together now. However I was able to inspect the belt and it looks fine and dandy (89,000 miles). No cracks, missing teeth or any visible signs of damage. I'm guessing it will last another 50,000 miles but I won't count on it so I'll do it over the summer when there are nice long warm days, touch wood :) .

55,000 is nothing for the belt, it's probably as good as new.
