Oh no I’ve just booked it in with Bassetts Honda swansea for Monday, do you know if they will honer the 10 year extended warranty
My understanding is there is a spread of VIN numbers, if your car is within that range you’ll be fine.
Did mine no questions asked.
Good luck, let us know how you get on.

For info...I've had my 2019 Honda Civic SR "repaired" at the local Northern Ireland Honda centre over the past month ( not all that time!!) I've had nearly £800 worth if repairs done under warranty. Air con packed up after buying the car with 1200 miles done, it was not working when I bought the car. Was refilled with gas, but a week later all gas was gone. Under warranty had a full refit of the Aircon done , has the front grille replaced as well, because with heavy rain, the sensors warned of an approaching vehicle in front, even if there always none there and also in reversing, the left sensor warned of a close object when there was none. The dealership dealt with it all and I had a hire car for a week, costing a pound. I was informed that 16 further cars were awaiting air con replacement parts and they the front warning issue was also a common failure in the build. The new air con unit/ condenser was only under warranty as long as the car's warranty was valid, so no 8 year extension in the UK as us the case in America. If anyone has any issues with their own dealer relating to " you did it yourself and it's a stone chip that caused it" etc. feel free to contact me in this forum..

Yes, I have a Civic, and I have the same problems. So is a friend of mine. We are also very attentive drivers, and we have a very calm ride. We tried to turn to dealers, but they didn't do much, but they took a lot of money from us. The idea of calling the dealer is not a good one. I recommend you to do as we do and turn to a team of specialists in this field in your country. They will tell you what the problem is and will fix you very quickly at a low price. No issue has occurred since they set it for me. I recommend!

dear bob , i have the same problem with my honda type r fk8 2018. Honda garage here in Belgium told me that this is a problem with this model that the air conditioning is leaking. my car always goes in for maintenance, they have never said anything about it or replaced it, now they apparently have to see if my car is still under warranty. I fear this car is 4 years old and has 100,000 km

Looks like the air con on my 68 plate Civic has packed in, the dealer told me "it was probably damaged by a stone on the road".

I'm a retired guy, I do maybe 2,500 miles a year, and I've always been a careful driver and always looked after my cars.
After asking around and doing a bit of Googling it seems that there's a known problem with the AC on the Civics.

Anyone know if this problem occurs in the UK versions ?

Bob.
