Ok, the basics of it are that my cam pulley has been wobbling around (thanks to a certain mechanic) and has been chewing at the attachment to the shaft itself. Just had to order a new pulley from honda (£170). This should be ok as a temporary fix, but i sincerely doubt as to whether or not it's going to last any considerable length of time. So i'm thinking the best thing to do is to get rid of the stock D15B2 and throw a v-tech in. Anyone know what engine's going to be the easiest to put in?

Couldn't you have the new pulley wheel welded onto the cam shaft? cheaper and less hassle than than doing an engine swap. IME it's often a lot cheaper to upgrade to a new car than start a project, cheaper on insurance too!
