Postby R3DD3V1L » 29 Jan 2010, 14:51

after redoing, and upgrading my wiring for me system, i dont no why, but i took my manifold cover off because its basically falling off any way lol, but taking it off i discoverd a hairline crack

my question is, shall i source another 1 from a scrappy or buy an after market 1?

cheers

Aftermarket, nae point having another OEM one. If your have to change parts i'd always try n change them for aftermarket ones as its the excuse you need to change it ;)

Don;t expect it to stay that shiny for long, after some heat it'll go gold/purple.

Mine didnt fit perfect when I first put it on but with a bit of common sense, elbow grease and brute force :p I got it to fit just fine, been like that for 2-3 years without any problems now.

as long as it stays in 1 peace it could go bright pink for all i care lol, na im not to fussed on the shiny side of things im not a massive of chrome any way. i love the used look, cant be assed to sit there polishing things all day.

stupid question, but i can still use the cat cant i?
