oh yer, as i cant afford a carbon fibre spoiler and even if i could, buying 1 would be a waste of money as it would only be there for looks, do u recon it would look chavy i bought vinyl for it instead? i done the same to my exhaust on my bike thought it looked pretty good.

no i wouldn't do that unless it really does look like carbon the 1 you did your bike in looks really fake you'd probably get stick of every 1 if it was that obvious lol with you colour co-ordinating the splitter i'd keep the spoiler the same colour too it would be classier

You can get real carbon wrap which would give you the look without the cost but still gonna be much more than that vinyl.

Fair enough mate, just personally I prefer the standard pattern over seat covers. You can pic up standard seats in good nick with a decent pattern for not a great deal of money to be honest. I luckily picked up some prelude seats for £30 a couple of years back before I got my EP3 seats.

david hutcho wrote:lol what happened to my question? let me ask me again :p is it easy to get rid of the black pasticey bits on the bumper because there is loads on a 91` Civic

It's easy but takes alot of fiberglass/filler it would be even easyer to buy 2nd hand panels without the plastic.

reddevil loving the work your doing, Take the tips the other guys said though. Next time cut more of them arches out and weld a bit of sheet metal in. You'll find the repair youve done will rust and fall apart in a year or two. good job still.

And i hope you don't mind but i'm stealing your grill idea, i was gonna buy a ek9 style grill but i have mesh and a few grills to try with :)

oh last thing stay away from the gay oxford fake carbon fiber you just get people taking piss all the time. buy real carbon and skin it, sould be a tiny bit cheaper and you look to have enough skill to do it fine.
