Default Furtive step back into hondas

    Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of getting back into hondas. I've had many cars - most are fixer uppers which the moment I get fixed I sell. Most of my 20s I cruised around in my mates Jap motors but I never had the cash myself to get one so stuck with VAG stuff my old man was into so sponsored me you could say to keep me on the road.

For a brief period I had my one and only honda, a circa 2000 plate civic aerodeck VTI-S. I was so poor at the time I only ran it for a month before selling but man was it fun.

I recently swapped a shagged old transit I was about to scrap for a rather tidy VW V6 4Motion Golf. A mechanic mate got it for a song with sensor problems, needed a van so he swapped a couple of sensors out and we did a deal. It's over 200BHP and as much as i'm loving the luxury it just isn't aggressive enough for me. So time for a swap. THink I'll get around 1250 for the golf and happy to chuck a little in the pot.

Soooooo... I think, what with 2 kids, I'm looking to get a Civic Coupe VTI, the EM1. It's either that or a EP3 Type R. The type R is a little on the pricey side - I'm guessing around the 2k mark.... the EM1 worries me as they are getting long in the tooth. But im thinking I could get a real stunner for similar money.

Anyway hello, and welcome your thoughts... anyone want a VW?
