Installed white led flexible strips to the footwell wired them to the dome interior light so they cum on when cars unlocked or if the car door is opened an thy dim down same as the interior light, then go off also if I lock the car they go off well chuffed

I ll upload pics of them when it's dark installed them in the boot to, the footwell lights are well bright got them for 1.65 a strip of eBay can't even see no wirin nothing looks like they came from factory defo a mod to do

I brought these a few months back and fitted them, but decided i'd prefer control of them. So removed them from the interior lighting circuit, cut a few cables, wired in a simple on/off switch and a 9V battery pack.
I can now switch them on while driving (switch under steering wheel), gives a lovely glow while driving at night.

My footwell lights work off the dome interior light so if I unlock the car they come on if I lock the car they go straight off. I open the car door they come on and if i shut the door thy dim after 20 secs or so and then go off they just do exactly what the dome interior light does, I didn't want mine on when Drivin or turn them on when Drivin as I think it's chavy plus when ya Drivin you should b lookin at the road not the footwell lol anyway I ll get some pics up to night of them also installed them in the boot wired in to boot light so I have lights both sides
